Body fabric is featherweight, and has been firmly-knitted to create acceleration with air flow around the body. The sleeves feature an ultra-fine, knit fabric with aero-stripe texture that creates speed-inducing, leading-edge turbulence. The same way dimples on a golf ball allow it to fly further, the aero-stripe sleeve design and the extremely slick body fabric allow you to slice through the wind and ride faster than ever before. In partnership with Pactimo this is the lightest and most aerodynamic jersey we have ever produced. The slim, aero fit and wind-slicing fabrics have been proven in both wind-tunnel tests and race courses all across the continental USA and Europe.
Body fabric is featherweight, and has been firmly-knitted to create acceleration with air flow around the body, providing more compression than our Aero jersey. The sleeves feature an ultra-fine, knit fabric with aero-stripe texture that creates speed-inducing, leading-edge turbulence. The same way dimples on a golf ball allow it to fly further, the aero-stripe sleeve design and the extremely slick body fabric allow you to slice through the wind and ride faster than ever before. Combined with a minimal collar, the 100% OWL Goodness™ Team Aero Pro Jersey is everything you could want in a race jersey!
Three full-size pockets with expanding bottom bellows allow you to load up with necessities for an all-day adventure. We are also really excited about the pocket design. Three full-size pockets incorporate a stretchy and more durable opening with an innovative bellows at the bottom that expands when stuffed with larger objects (or a lot of gels!). When compared to our Aero jersey, this model has slightly more gusset in pocket.
The YKK Vislon semi-locking zipper, is a durable zipper that’s a bit easier to handle than the smaller zipper found on our Aero jersey. The biggest advantage of a locking zipper is the ability for the wearer to singlehandedly unzip and open their jersey for cooling off. How do you do it? Simply flip the pull up to unlock the zipper, then with one hand the jersey can be pulled open. Flip the pull back down to lock the zipper pull in place.
There are no side panel inserts on the pro model. Instead, the front tapers to the back pockets. Additionally, the standard-length sleeves are raw cut (no cuffs) – the same as the pros wear!
